Innovation: Moroccan Association Gets UNHCR NGO Innovation Award
Each of the award-winning NGOs, whose names were unveiled at a ceremony chaired by the High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi, represents a different region of the world. They were selected from a total of 400 organizations that applied for this award open to refugee-led NGOs.
The Association "Vivre Ensemble pour la Citoyenneté et le Développement", according to its representative at this ceremony Hanin Joha, works to promote the concepts of social cohesion and support for refugees, through activities and cultural events in schools, summer camps, youth clubs and universities in the Kingdom.
Due to the health crisis, the 2020 UNHCR award was dedicated to humanitarian organizations that have developed innovative and creative solutions to provide adequate responses to mitigate the multifaceted impacts of Covid-19.
