International Food Festival 2022

The Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Vietnam took part in the international food festival 2022 along with the participation of nearly 143 pavilions representing Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam, Embassies, Non-Governmental Organisations and foreign cultural centres in Vietnam.

The Moroccan stand offered a variety of the emblematic dishes of the country such as couscous, pastilla almond pastries and mint tea. Ambassador of His Majesty the King of Morocco to Vietnam, H.E. Mr. Jamale Chouaibi and his spouse attended the contest of making Xeo cake- a traditional Vietnamese dish.
An appreciation certificate was awarded to the Embassy by the organizing Committee on this occasion.
The event offered chances to promote culture and cuisine of countries as well as Vietnamese regions, and to support the disadvantaged via a fundraising activity.
A total of nearly VND3.1 billion (US$133,700) was raised in previous editions of the event, which has been distributed to people with disabilities, orphans, poor women and those in extremely difficult situations.
