Biography of the Ambassador H.E. Mr. Jamale Chouaibi
H.E. Mr. Jamale Chouaibi joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in 1986.
His main mission is to further strengthen and expand bilateral relation in political, economic and cultural fields as well as people to people exchange.
His diplomatic assignments include postings in The Hague as first secretary (1989-1995), as political counsellor in Washington DC (1999-2003), as Deputy Head of Mission in London (2005-2011) and as Consul General in Dusseldorf (2015-2018)
At headquarters, he was a secretary of Foreign Affairs (Technical Cooperation Division) at the Directorate General of International Cooperation from 1986-1989
From 1995 - 1999 - Head of South Asia Team at the Directorate General of Asian and Oceania Affairs.
From 2003 – 2004 - Head of North America team and Head of Great Britain and Benelux team from 2004-2005
From 2011- November 2015 - He was a Deputy Director General Asian & Oceania affairs.
He holds a Bachelor Degree in Humanities from University Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah, Fes. and a Master Degree in International Relations and Diplomatic Studies – University of Malta.
